Fitbit Sense heart rate issues

I have been a Fitbit customer for probably 6 or 7 years now. Most recently I upgraded from a Charge to a Sense. I asked for it for my birthday. It has been the worst Fitbit I have ever had, in terms of heart rate accuracy and workout tracking accuracy. I know it is wildly off because I also wear a band around my chest and that will say I am in the 170s while my Fitbit reads as “below zone.” It takes a long time for it to recognize that I am actually working out (hard!) So, so frustrating. Does anyone else experience this or have a solution? I’m not sure I’ll ever go back to Fitbit after this since it was such a colossal waste of money.

HI @marelamy - if you look in the forums you will see this is an issue with the Sense and Versa 3 watches since they were released and hasn't been fixed. However if you are still for a while the heart rate is much more accurate.

@marelamy considering that all the HR inaccuracy analyses I have done are being removed from this forum by moderators and I'm being told not to post such content then I wouldn"t expect any fix anymore.

I have owned several different fitbits and this is definitely the worst! My resting heart rate is fine but as soon as you use it to monitor exercise, it is off! I did a spin workout and had the bowflex strap on, my fitbit was 15-30 beats lower. I'm lucky to get to 130 bpm during exercise even though my actual HR is much higher. Very frustrating! You would think the HR technology should be very accurate seeing as this is the latest fitbit.

Mine was fine, however i returned mine because I ended up with a galaxy watch 4. That and a lot of posts on the forums are either being closed without issues being resolved or removed. And I'm not a fan of this practice.
