Fitbit sense unable to swipe down to get text message notifications. Was working fine a couple of days ago...and now nothing. Can swipe left or right to use the fitbit but no notifications. Using a Samsung phone...please help, I have only owned my fitbit a little over a month.

Hi @G-force75 - there may currently be a bug in the latest version of the Fitbit App which doesn't process notifications anymore, which is why it suddenly stopped working.
But to be sure check your Quick Settings that you don't accidentally have sleep or do not disturb enabled, otherwise there is nothing you can do at the moment.

Hi, @G-force75, allowing you have checked the DND settings as advised by @Guy_ you may be interested in this article How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? FYG I'm not experiencing any notification issues so do not think your problem is a result of a bug.
Cheers

I have the same problem. I managed to get phone call alerts to work.
I even reset the app and the watch to factory settings
deleted the watch from the app and reinstalled it
There must have been a change either in the Samsung update for the Fitbit update that has caused an issue with the notifications
I am thinking I will swap it to another phone and see if that works

Hi
Yep
I'll just have to wait for the fix for the App.
I'll just have a coffee or 50 while I wait ☕

I think I found my issue
The notifications option deep in my Samsung settings was switched to off.
i would suggest that the be checked in everyone's phone to see if an update changed it to off
cheers

Hi @hive , would you mind sharing the notification option that helped u? I'm having the same problem, tried everything with no result. What i did now was to uninstall the fitbit app, install it again in an older version in which the notifications work again but that is not an option if it is something else.

Seems this is beyond Sense, reports in Charge 5, Versa, Sense, etc all related to notifications, if you keep trying the same thing and nothing changes then it must be the Fitbit app, I remove new version, put back backup of previous version notifications work, so seems someone in Fitbit development messed up the code for notifications. Maybe they should stop trying to make the app worse, and either leave it or make it better... Laugh at all the posts concerning how people reach out to support and get remove this unpair that.. how about really troubleshoot, fix the Android app.
I have both iphone and Android, if I pair to iPhone notifications work and they did not break the backgrounds yet... Just waiting for Fitbit to update iPhone app so those user can suffer... Think Fitbit is trying to make their users insane. Keep unpairing and remove app, re add remove setup as new device... Insane...

I've found this also but after a short period of time it goes back to not swiping down. I've turned it on and off probably every day and for a few hours it works and then it stops again.
