Hi everyone,
Last night I forgot to putt on my fitbit Sense before going to sleep. This morning I've putt it on again and after opening the app I noticed it has all sorts of data. It registered my sleep (which was basically correct), temperature and even resting heart rate and spo2. What the heck is going on? Maybe a new feature that your fitbit can sense your health wirelessly haha. Wouldn't that be awesome. But it is strange indeed.
Makes me wonder how accurate the data actually is. But it could be a feature or a bug that the device calculates your health when the fitbit is not worn. I really have no idea.

Hi, @Sephi , welcome, if you have removed your sense from your wrist and placed it face up on a surface the LED/sensor array reads the reflected light and seems to attribute random values. I find the best thing to do is place it face down, after a few moments, in the absence of reflected LED it switches off the LED and does not record anything.
Give it a try.
Cheers

Thanks for the reply😊. My fitbit was actually on the loader in another room. So it's not a sensor thingie. Still a nice tip ofcourse!

Hi, @Sephi , thanks for the feedback, may I suggest you see if the problem repeats itself while noting the orientation of your Sense in the charging cradle? I usually charge mine once a day while I'm in the shower, it is on its side for about 30 minutes, otherwise, I wear it continuously, I've not noticed any rogue data.
Cheers

Will try to repeat it tonight and let you know.
Orientation is always the same because I connect it to the same active usb port on top of my PC. The Fitbit then leans on its side on my desk and I always check if it's charging (and the connections are set). I didn't do anything different then forgetting to take it of the charger and wear it.
But we'll see after tonight if it happens again. Can't imagine my PC has a sleep pattern, changing heart rate, spo2 calculation and so on hihi.
Have a nice day!

Hi Gr4ndp4,
Last night my fitbit didn't want to connect to the app anymore. Tried everything (from simply deactivating bluetooth to restarting my phone) but nothing worked. The final thing I did, the horror, was a factory reset and that finally worked.
Ofcourse I did do the test as promised but the conditions where far from the same so nothing happened this time. Guess the reset fixed it. Happy ofcourse, though it was a strange occurance.
If it happens again in the future I'll come back here and let you know. Thanks for wanting to help!

Hi, @Sephi, thanks for your info, when it happened with my Sense it was very frustrating, I hope you have indeed resolved the problem. Do post here again if it re-occurs.
Cheers
