I'm not sure if it's charging it just "bumps" while I have connected to charge, the Fitbit icon is just periodically flashing when plugged in. I have tried uninstalling the Fitbit App but it wont connect to Wi-Fi or bluetooth.. very frustrated as this is probably my 5th Fitbit device and 2nd Sense as the last one crapped out too.

Hi, @Roses12 , welcome, you are clearly experienced with Fitbit devices, may I draw your attention to this article Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging? I apologise if you have seen it before. There is a noted fault with the charger cable where the little spring-loaded pins become damaged. Examine yours carefully, they should be slightly proud of the pad face and free (wiggle gently with your finger) In addition check the back of your "Sense" is clear of any skin products, I use rubbing alcohol with a cotton wool pad and cotton buds in the four little pits that take the charger pins (you could also try warm soapy water). If you have a problem talk to "Customer Support" here, I recommend you use the chat facility or phone for a prompt response. If your battery is heavily depleted you will need to leave your "Sense" on charge for at least 30 minutes during which time it may appear dead.
