My zone activity was off the charts yesterday. This would be okay...if it were true.  I was getting a much needed massage during the intensive activity time slot (23 zone minutes) and eating during the moderate activity time slot (11 zone minutes). I hit 10 cardio zone minutes in the intense slot and 2 in the moderate.  Has anyone noticed elevated heart rates during massage and eating? Is this normal or is my Fitbit malfunctioning?

I can't speak for the message, but I've noticed the elevated heart rate for eating.

Ah! Very interesting. I read massage increases blood flow. Hopefully, it
was that. I was uncomfortable as well. The massage therapist was a bit
inappropriate.
