Google assistant started disconnecting again from my Sense. This happened to me for a few weeks last year, but it was solved by fitbit. Now it's happening again. I reconnect, and after a couple of hours the watch says I have to reconnect Bluetooth again. Anyone else having the same issue?

Came here to post the same thing - I am having the exact same issue! I've always had random problems with the watch occasionally losing connection to the phone entirely, but now it is happening very regularly.
In previous cases a reboot of either phone or watch would fix it more or less immediately, so it was annoying but at least resolvable, but I'm having problems now where it takes multiple reboots of both devices before they seem to "sync up" again and will talk to each other.
Happening to me too. Fitbit support made me go through a whole list of fixes and a factory reset, then got me to send in my fitbit and sent me a refurbished one which I received today.
The issue is happening with the refurbished one they sent too. Now I see it's not just me.
It's unbelievable that they make you go through that, this being a known issue for weeks. Or maybe fitbit doesn't even know (or acknowledge) it's an issue...?
I am also having the same issue. It appeared a few weeks ago. I took the following steps.
I am still being disconnected. I am willing to bet they are doing this on purpose to drive folks to Pixel Watch. It seems google assistant is being removed from most watched. All I want is a simple watch that displays notifications, tell the time, and lets me interact with google assistant!

Best AnswerI did similar steps and also keep being disconnected from Google Assistant from my Sense. Unfortunately, I agree that Google is intentionally pushing us towards upgrading. 👿
Google Assistant continues to disconnect every day despite the latest update 4.26.1. Forcing it to be manually reconnected every day and often several times a day.

It is a pleasure @NoSloppy, to be helpful to all our users.
Thanks for letting me know about this additional issue. We'll take it into consideration.
I hope this issue gets resolved in the new app update, which shouldn't take too long to be released.
So far, any additional information is appreciated.
Best AnswerGoogle Assistant had been disconnecting from my sense daily and now I get the message "couldn't connect to your watch" when trying to activate Googly Assistant on Sense. I should mention that my phone is a OnePlus 7T with the Microsoft launcher. Is it just coincidence that the "couldn't connect" problem began on October 1st?
I have the same problem with assistant.
Best AnswerHi, I have done a manufacture reset on the watch, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, watch is paired to phone, watch Is right next to the phone, I'm signed into my Google account and google assistant has stopped connecting to the watch. What can I do to get it to work?

Hi there @MicheleVersa3! Welcome to the Fitbit Community!
Thanks for letting us know that you have the same situation with Google Assistant.
Have you tried to restart your phone and watch? Could you please verify if you can update your Fitbit app too?
Best AnswerYes,
Cleares cash, restarted, uninstall/reinstall.
Only assistant don't go.
Alexa works, but I prefer assistant
