Google assistant started disconnecting again from my Sense. This happened to me for a few weeks last year, but it was solved by fitbit. Now it's happening again. I reconnect, and after a couple of hours the watch says I have to reconnect Bluetooth again. Anyone else having the same issue?

With the latest update I can finally reconnect to Google Assistant, but it still disconnects daily. I have a brand new phone so absolutely everything is up to date.
Good news: it's no longer worse than when I first posted!
Bad news: I'm back to where I started. So, essentially no improvement.

Same here, the Alexa assistant works fine and I can control my music so I know Bluetooth is working fine, it's just the Google assistant that can't stay connected. 🙄
I feel like I've had nothing but trouble with my Sense since Google took over.

Yeh, just to be clear: where we're at now is much better than it was for the last month or two (where it was completely broken) but it's still in a state that is actually very bad, because it is still partially broken.
Having to reconnect manually multiple times a day is still extremely frustrating and I don't want anyone working on this to think we've reached an acceptable compromise. It renders the device only slightly less unusable - if I can't rely on the Assistant prompt to work when I invoke it, it's mostly useless for the majority of my use cases.

I agree and today my Sense can't connect via Bluetooth, even though in the app it shows Google Assistant is connected! And of course summoning GA on the Sense fails because the Bluetooth is not connected.
But I give up. The Galaxy Watch Ultra I'm testing now has been rock solid with GA even if the watch and phone come in and out of Bluetooth range several times a day.
Unfortunately, I think for me it's RIP, Sense. 😞

This is my current experience with my Sense 1 and Note 20 Ultra. At this stage it seems like a proper fix is totally possible if someone from Fitbit would only take the issue seriously.

ANOTHER month since I chimed in on this thread asking for an update & now FIVE MONTHS waiting for a fix 😞
On the one hand I want to keep my composure & "hope" that a fix will surface, but I'm not sure any longer 😞
And yes, both my fitbit firmware & apps are completely up to date, but Google Assistant still won't stay connected

I've been having the same issue since the summer. Fitbit keeps telling me they are working on it 🙄

I was offered a 35% off discount on a new Fitbit. Instead of fixing the problem trying to get you to buy another one that would probably not function properly either. Very disappointing.

Assistant keeps disconnecting every few hours. I'm going to try to do some more experimentation over the weekend to confirm the frequency - it's hard to tell but my guess is it disconnects after only an hour or two.
I tend to use it to set a timer after I've made a cup of tea, which I do every few hours - I usually can only do this once or twice after reconnecting in the morning, and then it stops working.
There's been several Fitbit app updates this year & obviously none of them have addressed the issue. I continue to believe it is entirely on the Assistant side but have no actual evidence to support that.
Would be great to hear from representatives to confirm a) if you're aware that this is still BROKEN in the Sense and b) whether or not this issue is still being investigated?

Just an update and I don't wanna say it so loud.
I haven't been used the Sense for a month or more since the Assistant problem was discovered.
I turned it on again to check if my device was included in those who will be affected by the update.
With my surprise after several attempt, it's now 24hrs that the Assistant still connected.

Still broken for me; connection continues to fail after an hour or two. Also having more frequent complete connection failures between the watch and my phone, necessitating a reboot of one or both devices.

Same here, I also got the battery overheat firmware update, but my google assistant does not stay connected. Joke company.

I never realised before that the Sense 2 doesn't even have Google Assistant!
I've left the ecosystem now, but it does read like reliable Google assistant integration might not be coming back.

I upgraded my phone last night and now I'm having trouble getting Alexa to connect with the watch. Keep getting an error. I've always loved the fitbit platform and that's why I didn't go with the Samsung watch for my phone. But, seems like I may just need to at some point in the near future.

Hopeless situation unfortunately.
It's clear that there is nothing to do if Google doesn't do.
