Health Metrics doesn't show SpO2 graph

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Health Metrics on my iPhone have been working fine until the last two days when it stopped showing the graph for SpO2.  My Sense shows the data each morning but it doesn't show up on the graph.

I have uninstalled the app, rebooted the iPhone, re-installed the app, but no graph.

Any suggestions?

Hi @CBV2. It's nice to see you around.

Thanks for letting me know that the SpO2 graph isn't showing up in the Health Metrics tile and for every step tried prior to posting. May I know if you're getting SpO2 values on your watch? If not, were you wearing your watch to sleep and using the SpO2 Signature clock face? Aside from this, please provide me with the model and OS/software version of your phone so I can further investigate on my end.

I look forward to your reply.

I have the same problem I think. I wear my watch with the SpO2 face all the time and it records the SpO2 % every morning but it is no longer updated on the graph on the app on my phone. It recorded it on the watch for Wednesday but since then it’s been “Last Night: No Data” ever since.

I have the same problem. The last 2 days the health metrics graph shows no data under SPO2. BUT the spo2 shows up on the watch face just fine. It shows my the range and everything. I suspect it's an app or server issue. Not a sense issue.

Hi Lizzy.  Thanks for getting back to me. And no graph this morning (Australian time), still, though the SpO2 reading shows on my Sense, using the SpO2 clock face if course.

As appears to be the case for mjdmaine and DaughterofMaat

I bought my Sense last week and I enrolled, if that's the right expression, in Premium several weeks ago. System Info from the Sense is shown as

Version 44.128.1.42

and, 2554 MB of available memory

I use an iPhone, and I believe the app is the current version as I deleted it and reinstalled yesterday when trying to fix this Metrics graph issue.

Now let me digress.  This is the first time I have looked at these stats for the Sense, though I had checked System Info for my previous (now back in their boxes) Versa and Versa 2.  So it is the first time I have seen the memory statistic.  I had thought that the music storage facility, which I used on occasion on the Versa, was deleted from the Sense because the available Silicon was all being used up on new stuff (which is all quite naice by the way😀) and there was none left to store music.  Appears not to be the case.  When you get back to the powers that be at Fitbit, please remind them of this. Tell them to put the music storage facility back in the next update, which should be soon.  Apple does updates all the time, so let's not be shy here Fitbit.

But back to the point at issue.  No graph.  Over to you

And I forgot to confirm in my post of a minute or so ago, yes, I wore it to sleep using the aforesaid SpO2 Signature clock face.

Same for me. I always wear my Sense with the SpO2 clock face now. The Health Metrics SpO2 % graph was being updated but that stopped on Wednesday.

Hi Lizzy

Looking at the Forum today you seem to have been busy so I am hoping that you have sent this issue off to the techs and haven't heard back yet.  I got a further SpO2 value on the watch this morning, but again, no entry on the Health Metrics graph.  Looking forward to hearing from you again.

Hi everyone. It's so good to see you here in the Community Forums.

Thanks for sharing detailed information about this issue, as well for confirming the requested information. It's odd that the SpO2 doesn't appear on the Health Metrics tile, even though it's displayed on the Sense. To further investigate with our team,  I'll need you to provide me with the following information:

  • Model of your phone.
  • OS/software version of your phone.
  • Picture of the SpO2 displayed on the Sense and screenshot of what it's displayed on the Fitbit app. To attach a file, check this post.

Additionally, please try logging out from the Fitbit app, force quitting the Fitbit app, rebooting your phone, logging back in, syncing with the Fitbit app and checking your details.

@CBV2, thanks for your feedback about being able to store your music on the Sense. I understand your point of view about having this feature available and be sure that every comment posted in the forums is always taken into consideration to enhance the performance of our products and your experience with them.

I look forward to your comments.

Hi again

I hope this issue has not slipped off your list.

My Health Metrics now shows nothing for the SpO2 graph, deleted it entirely, and replaced it with "Download our SpO2 clock face" heading, followed by a green bar with "DOWNLOAD CLOCK FACE" on it.  I have gone to the clock face area in the app, deleted the SpO2 clock face, checked the list of clock faces and made sure it had been deleted, returned to the Health Metrics section, and clicked on the aforesaid DOWNLOAD CLOCK FACE green bar, which then re-installed the SpO2 clock face.  So that is now back, albeit without last night's score, but still, nothing in Health Metrics. Help?

IT'S BACK !!!

without the history, unfortunately, but the graph has re- appeared. Where did it go?  Why is it back?  It's all a mystery to me 😀

Hi @CBV2. I hope you're doing well.

Thanks for getting back with the requested information and for your efforts while trying some other steps on your own. While I'm glad the Health Metrics tile is now showing your SpO2 data, I'm sorry your previous data didn't display. Currently there isn't an option to bring back the old data, however this tile should continue working correctly from now on. If you need help with any other question, don't hesitate to let me know.

See you around.

I wear the SPO2 watch face at night and sync in the morning but, under 'Health Metrics', it says "Last Night: No Data" even though there is a data point on the graph. How can there be a data point on the graph if there is "No Data"?

Hello Lizzy,

I am experiencing the same issue. I am a premium member, I have downloaded the SpO2 clock face, but Health Metrics doesn't show the SpO2 graph tile, instead it just tells me to download the SpO2 clock face. I am a longtime Fitbit user, I upgraded to the Sense on 11/03, no success with getting SpO2 graph on the app or any SpO2 data on my phone. Chatted with support yesterday 11/07 with no resolution except to be told to try wearing my Sense differently. Took my Sense back to Best Buy and exchanged it for another Sense, thinking perhaps the one I purchased was defective. Set up the new Sense yesterday and downloaded the SpO2 clock face, and again, this morning, no data on my Sense (it states "Couldn't read SpO2"), and no SpO2 graph tile in Health Metrics on the app, instead, where the SpO2 graph tile should be the app says "Download our SpO2 clock face".

I would really appreciate some helpful information on this issue, i.e. is there a known issue with SpO2 that Fitbit is working to address? I have already tried every fix possible on my end, and I am really getting frustrated. The whole purpose of upgrading to Sense from Charge 4 was for the additional health-related information the Sense is supposed to provide.

Thanks for your help!

Hi @SunsetRunner and @SunsetRunner. Welcome to the Community Forums.

Thanks for letting me know that the SpO2 data isn't showing up on the Fitbit app, as well for the steps tried on your own. I understand your point of view about not taking advantage of this feature to keep working toward your health goals. To further investigate, may I know the model and OS/software of your phone? Also, go to the Fitbit app > Profile picture > Help and provide me with the Fitbit app version.

While you've tried troubleshooting this situation, I'd suggest to log out from the Fitbit app, force quit the Fitbit app, reboot your phone, log back in to your Fitbit account, sync with the Fitbit app and check your details one more time.

I look forward to your response.
