Hebrew support gone

I am just at a loss.

The Versa 2 got Hebrew support after months of waiting. Then RTL was never patched.

Now the Sense takes a huge step backwards. Hebrew support has not even been applied. Letters come up as question marks. This should not be a requested feature at this point. This should be something standard.

Why are we going backwards?

What a huge disappointment.

Sadly already did.

The customer service was nice but it was the generic answer.

I'll be forwarding this to the development team as a request.

This should not be a request. This should already be a standard.

She said to keep an eye out for future updates. Hopefully it will be resolved in the future.

Sorry but I'm not spending money on something that may or may not be fixed.

This is a stupid problem to have. Especially since Hebrew is supported by every other smartwatch manufacturer.

I can't believe that an updated model has an outdated feature.

Also, not sure why my post was reported.

Can someone not face facts?

Same problem I noticed. I am a little annoyed because half my communications are in Hebrew. I will contact customer support.

Who would report that? Hmm?? I wonder.... Anyway it is unfortunate as I will likely send it back to Fitbit and use my Fossil Gen 5 and wait for the Gen 6 that will hopefully have the Snapdragon 4100+. Fitbit dropped the ball on this one!

I completely agree with you. Mobvoi, a company that was created by two ex-google scientists who are pioneers in the fields of machine learning and speech recognition, just released their QC4100 watch. But I am with you, just printed my label to send it back to Best Buy. I'll wait a little bit longer to see what Fossil has up their sleeve. Hopefully someone comes out with a QC4100/4100+ that has ECG. Not worried about Hebrew because I know for a fact they support it correctly.

FACT: Wear OS, Tizen (Samsung) and Watch OS have all been out in the world for less time than Fitbit. Yet, they support Hebrew without any problems.

Report that.

just bought the new model Sense and was shocked to see that its still do not support notifications in hebrew and it shows signs instead..

there is any patch that going to solve this anytime soon ?

very disappointed ..

Best Answer

You and everyone else.

Read my opening and subsequent post.

They sent the request to the programming team.

So we will get the same results as Versa 2.

After a few months you'll get Hebrew but no RTL.

Best Answer

i'd like to request hebrew support as well

Bringing this up again - has anything changed ? this is very disappointing.

I would say don't hold your breath.

We all saw what happened with the Versa 2.

I Don't Know If It's An Issue For You, But I Have The Hebrew Characters (Not The Question Marks) But Yet The Actual Writing Is The Wrong Way Round, (Left To Right, (The Same Way As English) But The Wrong Way For Hebrew,)  ( Eg, "תיב" Instead Of  "בית" It's Very Annoying And Really Messes With My Brain!.. Something That They Should Really Fix,

And I Could Change My Phone Names Into English And Ask People To Avoid Messaging In Hebrew, But Thats Really Not The Point..

Same for me.

Any update on this?

What happened with versa 2?

It does not support hebrew

Why in 2021 it’s take so much time to resolve such a minor issue

Best Answer

The same here.

I wonder there is no Hebrew support.

I ware my Garmin most of the time because I can read Hebrew massages.

My system is on English, Hebrew, German.
