I have gone through the same thing working with support at fitbit since last September.  Finally the support said it doesn't work and theres nothing they can do about it. I have the screenshot. Really sucks as it the entire reason I bought a sense. Its kinda frustrating to see this feature advertised when it doesn't work.  They even replaced my sense and we went through the entire circus again and it still didn't work.  I kind of think support is there to give you the run around until you finally give up and stop trying to get it fixed.

I was recently infected by the COVID-19 virus and my bpm's didn't go out of the average of 115/130 bpm without making any effort and it went on for many minutes before going to the doctor and fitbit sense didn't even warn or alert my wife contracted it and she also had it the same symptoms, including the accelerated beats, however, different from the fitbit sense the apple watch warned her and "asked if everything was ok". I was upset as I reached almost 50 minutes of active minutes and sense was not able to warn me about it.

Taking the opportunity to praise a very useful resource that was oxygenation and skin temperature, these were accurate and warned me of theIMG_7454 (1).PNG

I just got off support (again).  This is the transcript log of the question and answer.

question...does the high heart rate notification work for anyone? 05:32 pm

Thank you for your patience and understanding towards this matter, XXX.

The issue with the heart rate is still on-going and our team is working for an firmware update that will fix this issue.
As soon as the update is available, you should be getting it through the Fitbit app.

There are many bugs that the sense has, we understand that at launch the OS is premature, but it's been two years since the release of fitbit sense, there should already be some solution even for the basics. Not even the heartbeats are accurate.
It is probably already close to a "sense 2" release and still has serious errors in its current top of the line.
