Hi @Lottevw. Welcome to the Community Forums.

It's great that you got the Sense and let me help you with your question. I understand why you'd like to continue training with your new watch and you can track your run intervals from the Exercise app:

  1. On your Sense clock face, swipe to the left.
  2. Open the Exercise app and swipe to find the Interval Workout option.
  3. Tap the play icon to begin the exercise, or swipe up to choose an exercise goal or adjust the settings.
  4. Tap the large stat to scroll through your real-time stats. To pause your workout, swipe up and tap the pause icon.
  5. When you're done with your workout, swipe up and tap the end icon > End. Your workout summary appears.
  6. Tap Done to close the summary screen.

See you around.

Hi Lizzy,

For the Fitbit Sense, there's no way to customize the time of intervals? This is so frustrating. I expected more from a watch that is way more expensive that the other fitbit variants.

After you select the interval workout swipe up from the bottem to edit more on the exercise. From there tap on intervals and you can edit the move & rest timers plus how many sets you wanna do.

I use it all the time for HIIT and runs 🙂

Welcome, @SupersoupGirl. It's nice to see a new face around. @Marc_not_Mark Thanks for your awesome help!

@SupersoupGirl Thanks for joining this thread and I'm sorry for the frustration this has caused you. As our friend mentioned, you can edit the times of your intervals when tracking an Interval Workout on your Sense. Just follow the steps shared by @Marc_not_Mark and keep me posted on the outcome.

Hope this helps.

I would add after step 2

2a: Tap on "interval" as "goal" is the default selection

2b: it will bring up another menu to adjust/select  "move"  "rest" "repeat" etc settings to your likings. Swipe again to get back.

follow on to 3-6 as mentioned by @LizzyFitbit.

It was good to learn about the what feature for Interval Workouts. I used it for running but I often couldn't feel the alert when I was running. The display is pretty confusing as it will count UP say you have 16 intervals and I see it says "7/16" fairly large and I keep thinking it is 7 left NOT 7 done. It doesn't display time left in interval, you have to just remember. Also the timer is very tiny.

The Fitbit app has a way to do intervals with audio cues but it is fairly different interface.

I want to hear an audible notice and I want to match my running intervals, like 3 minutes running and 1 minute walking. The app doesn't have this choice, lowest interval you can set is 2 minutes 😞

Not sure the best option to go, the current features are so close to being what I want.

Oh, also it is odd that the app display for interval segments is given in calories and not distance. Though I think this obviously for interval WORKOUTS and not interval RUNNING. I do a mix of both, workouts and running.
