Hi everyone. Thanks for participating in the Community Forums. @Rich_Laue and @Tiggerrr Thanks for stopping by to help our members.

I'm sorry for the difficulties you've experienced and thanks for your efforts while working on this matter. Let me explain that when starting a swim activity on your Sense or Versa 3, the water lock will be enabled to prevent the screen from activating by itself while doing your exercise. As @Tiggerrr mentioned, you'll need to double press the side button to unlock your watch and either end your exercise, or resume it.

If by any chance your watch is still locked after trying those steps, please get in touch with our Support team so they can investigate what may be occurring and provide you with assistance. You can get connected with them via chat or phone by clicking here.

Have a good one.

@Johncas1 It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community!

Let me help you with your Sense's swim mode. When your device is in this mode you just need to press the button to exit said mode and then you can use the screen to end your activity. You can find more information about swimming here.

Let me know how it goes.

I can not unlock my versa 3 from swim mode at all can someone please help me

My sense doesn't unlock (stop) when I press the button anymore. I had to restart all the time. I only had it for 6 weeks. My previous vera had the same issue and I had it for almost 2 yrs.

I have a malfunctioning sense...maybe it's similar. I press the button til it turns dark. The logo will appear & then the clock will appear. I literally have to do this when I want to stop the swim timer.

This continues to happen to me. I have only been able to stop it by resetting my Versa 3. Inconvenient and annoying. I swim daily and considering other device options because of it.  Reset by holding the left button until you see the Fitbit logo.

Hi. I had a swim app problem with my old versa & with my two new sense devices. With my third replacement, I have to quickly press the button twice & it stops the clock. I used to reboot after swim with my previous devices.
Hope it works for you.

There is no end after swimming.  The screen was locked.  The only way to activate the screen was to reset the Fitbit.

At what step does the unlock process fail?

Or what steps are you trying.

After finishing a swim workout there is no way to end the workout. I have tried swiping to get the workout to press end, tapping the screen twice, holding the button to reset the watch, etc. The only way to get the watch unlocked is to place it on the charger and hold the button until the Fitbit symbol appears for a reset.

@Tessa. A quick double tap of ther side button did not work? These taps nerd to be short and with in a second of each other.
