Is Fitbit Sense still supported?

I spent a lot of money on Fitbit sense.  And it gets crappier by the day.  The sense was the new thing when I bought it.  Then the sense 2 comes out and I have not had an update on this device in forever.  Please make clear.

@SunsetRunner  - it's good to hear you don't have issues, in which case there is no need to do anything, often making changes can lead to problems. The old adage of if it ain't broke don't fix it holds true.

Just because no updates are available doesn't mean anything, other than nothing fixable needs fixing.

Support is only needed if something goes wrong and if it does you can always chat via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & support, Contact Customer support.

Hi @SunsetRunner - I haven't had an update for ages and didn't do the last one anyway - what seems to be the problem which in all probability an update won't help resolve ?

It may help if you try restarting the watch How do I restart my Fitbit device?

Also logout of the Fitbit app, swipe off the active window and in Android clear the storage cache and force stop it, then restart the phone.

Make sure that you are, at this stage, only using one phone, and login to the app again and wait for any pair, link or Fixit prompts.

This process can resolve many issues.

If not post back rather than waiting for an update to resolve the problem.

I am not having any issues.  I just know that most electronics need updates from time to time.  Unless they are no longer supported.

I've been involved with Fitbit for a long time.  Usually Fitbit will support their products no matter how old they are, however, once the product is no longer made, if the issue can't be fixed, the only thing I've seen happen is being offered a 25% discount towards a new device.  This only seems to happen if you bought the product directly through Fitbit originally.  If you bought it through a 3rd party retailer, there may not be anything that Fitbit can do, so if that were the case, you would have to abide by the other retailer's policies.

Again, I've had limited experience in this case (I had to exchange my Sense 2, which I got directly through Fitbit and it was still under warranty), so most of what I've mentioned is based off of things I've read over the years.  I haven't heard anything about the Sense not being supported, so if there's any issues with the Sense, I would contact Support.
