The features of the new Sense sound awesome, but the missing support for taking Music from Spotify offline is a bummer.

Is there a feature supporting this planned for the future?

Actually you don't always need a phone with you to listen to Spotify on a
run. I use:- https://www.mightyaudio.co.uk/

it's a great bit of kit and when out running in the rain I never worry
about my expensive phone getting dropped or damaged etc.

I have a Fitbit Charge 4.

Yes, so the sense has potential to be a good watch.

My garmin 646m is the watch the sense could have been. The one I have lacks
the o2 sensor, but it had pretty limited usefulness on the sense anyway.
(Some garmin models do have o2 sensors ...)

Just have to add that I was forced to have a new Sense as my perfectly good Ionic was recalled. What a pile of poo this watch is! The best thing for me with the Ionic is I could actually download music to my watch from my PC and play it on runs without out having to take a mobile phone and having a 3 way Bluetooth battle. Had I know I would have told fitbit to shove the recall and run the risk of my arm burning away. All the apps at buggy at best.

Seems like Fitbit is become the new Blackberry.. going backwards.  I had the Fitbit Ionic, and able to take it for a run without having to carry my phone.  Can't do that with any Fitbit product now.  No choice but to go somewhere else.  Fitbit Ionic was the last good product from fitbit.
