Hi everyone, I'm thinking of buying a Fitbit sense to use as heart rate, HRV, sleep, notifications tracking
My question is, how is it going today? I read a lot of complaints about malfunctions, the heart rate measurement is quite bad, etc.
This was fixed or are the problems still?
And I wanted to know how necessary the Premium membership is, does it force you to pay for many functions or is it not so necessary to have it?

Hi @lonarkesa - premium isn't necessary, except for snore detection, but that uses a lot of battery so you may only use it a few times.
There don't appear to have been any updates to improve heart rate measurements on the Sense 1/2, Versa 3/4 during movements or exercises..
The Versa 2 may be more accurate for heart rate measurements.

Don’t do it!!!!
The Sense is an expensive piece of garbage. The only things it does correctly is tell the time and alarms. HR monitor is off. I can jog in place and get 5-7 flights of stairs. 3-5 times a day I don’t get notifications to move. The list is endless.

Last firmware update was august last year and with Sense 2 out, I doubt that there will be others. Sense 2 is a downgrade. That update added some status indicators and made stairs very slightly less sucky in my opinion but other problems persist. Looking at the Sense 2 forums, it seems the same problems carry over to Sense 2. I dont think Google is interested in the brand (the downgrades), so I would look elsewhere. I certainly will when my watch expires.

It works for me. I’ve had mine over 2 years and have not experienced any of the complaints. I’ll look for something g else when mine does as well, only for something new.
