In the Fitbit App, main Today view, when you pull down there is a pop up notification bar appearing at the top.
Sometimes the battery indicator is on the left, more often when things are working its on the right.
When the battery indicator is on the right, there is also a progress bar and eventually there is a sync tick against the watch type on the left before the pop up closes.
Sometimes the pop up bar just disappears.
Does it mean that the watch is not properly synced when the battery indicator is on the left?

A quick and simple solution found that often works, when the watch isn't properly paired or synced.
Login to the Fitbit App
On the main Today screen
Pull down to Refresh, [a sync popup appears at the top, - Note position of battery indicator, if its in the popup, especially if on the left and there is no green progress bar]
Click on profile photo [top left] Device photo [middle left] Sync Click on the circle, [sometimes necessary to try a few times till it reacts]
Once it reacts, after a some seconds [< 10] A request to pair will appear.
If no pair prompt appears Go back to the Today screen Repeat the process
It may take several tries and a bit of patience to get sorted
If unsuccessful On Android phones Quit the Fitbit app, go to Phone settings Apps Fitbit Force stop the app
And try again |
