Looking to replace Sense. Is there a Fitbit device that provides similar functionality and actually

Between battery, battery cable, random phantom stairs, missing health metrics I'm at the point of considering alternatives.

Would be easy to switch OEM's but as I was satisfied with the Charge I won't entirely eliminate Fitbit as an option if they have something that functions and whose capabilities are equivalent to Sense.

Suggestions?

Here is a great way to compare products

Tap the 3 lines top right of this landing page and then scroll to the very bottom and select compare products. You can tap the red arrow next to Fitbit charge 5 or sense to compare products.

Thanks, but it is just a list.  On a list from Fitbit the Sense is a great choice.  Experience shows otherwise.

I'd rather hear from people who have experience with the equivalent products to Sense for an appreciation of their reliability compared to the lack of reliability in the Sense.

I will look into the Versa 2.  Pulse, Oxygen and sleep stats would be priorities.  Steps/Stairs stats are relative: basically higher is better whatever the number provided.  Except with Sense and stairs, where high or lower can reflect the same level of effort.

Definitely looking for a different, more reliable charging system design.  The Versa 2 cable design looks more secure but do the pins function and attach  in the same manner as the Sense? Magnetic attachment with pins experiencing movement?

Hi @down_and_out  - the Versa 2 charger is robust and not a problem.

The floors, heart rate and phone GPS tracking work fine, syncs well.

The SpO2 will chew about 2 days of the battery life, same as the Sense.

Health metrics uses the same engine so will be about the same, except the Versa 2 may be more reliable, so it might improve.

Well I’m sorry I won’t be able to help in that regard. I have not only owned the sense so I have no experience with any other watches within Fitbit’s lineup. I had the Versa 2 for a brief period (less than 3 weeks) so not enough time to compare with sense.

I had a versa lite and the information provided was more reliable, too bad the battery was deteriorated and I had to change it, I bought the fitbit sense thinking it would have a great evolution, but I ended up frustrating.
I took the opportunity when I traveled to the United States to upgrade and returned to the country where I live, unfortunately there is no support here because if I had I would have returned it.
But maybe I find it interesting you look at the new charge 5, this one seems to be equivalent and more reliable.

I will look into that thanks.  I have a similar issue with warranties and exchanges.  Costly shipping with no guarantee of nature of response until they get underperforming or failed equipment.
