My Sense’s screen is black

My sense’s screen is black. I held the button, but it only vibrates for a second, but it won’t reset.

Hi, @Jndavis2912, welcome to the community. Check your "Sense" is charged, sync your phone app by swiping your finger down on the today screen and release. The battery icon in the top right will indicate the state of charge. If the battery is discharged note Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?  and examine the charging cable to make sure the little spring-loaded pins are in good order and free. Clean the back of your "Sense", I use rubbing alcohol and cotton wool with a cotton bud to detail the 4 pits that receive the pins. If you do not have rubbing alcohol wash with warm soapy water, rinse and dry.

Try a reset again, in particular, hold the side button for 20 seconds until the logo appears and release. The "Sense" should restart in about 35 seconds.

If none of this works or you have a malfunctioning charge cable talk to "Customer Support" and use the Chat facility or phone for a prompt response.

Hi @Jndavis2912 - it's just possible there is not enough charge to start and doesn't charge, often due to the need to clean the 4 contact holes on the watch carefully or a faulty charge cable, see How to check charge cable - Sense/Versa 3 won't charge, won't start or blank screen for more details.
