Hello, Fitbit community,
I ordered a brand new Fitbit Sense, and I received it today on the auspicious day of Diwali. However, to my disappointment, the watch failed to charge even after trying multiple USB ports. Finally, as I was about to give up and was putting down the watch on the table, I saw the charging start but went off immediately. Again after several trials, I found that it charged at some weird angle, and it is impossible to figure out how and when it begins charging. I looked over the internet and am unhappy to find many negative reviews concerning the charging of Fitbit Sense. I immediately wrote to Fitbit support, but I haven't received a response yet, and the customer calling number, i.e. 008000501057 is dysfunctional.
I wish to seek the Fitbit community's help. My observation is that the charging port of the watch is dysfunctional as it would not have changed even at any angle/ direction if the charging cable wasn't working. Can anyone help me understand if this is an issue with the charging cable or a fault of Sense's charging port? Please enable/ advise.
Thank you!

HI, the charging cables are notoriously problematic.
Check the 4 pins are equally prominent and properly located in the holder.
Probably best to contact Fitbit Support directly and ask for a replacement charge cable under warranty.
Also reachable via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & Support, Contact Customer Support.
It might pay to order a more robust charger in case the replacement also fails.

Hello @Umang_12, While it may say "Not charging" or "try a different power source" ignore those warnings. It will still charge regardless of the warnings. This usually occurs when you use the watch, the watch display turns on after receiving a notification while connected to the charger, etc. Even the smallest thing can set it off, like light changes. It will still charge so your fine 🙂.
Example of this on Versa 2
