Hi @tony_go - if you have a lot of Apps installed [max about 30] you can't install more. Try removing an unused or unneeded app first.

This happens sometimes, once in about two months. I found a solution, it may work for other users too. I opened Fitbit app from apps list in my android phone. Settings> Storage > clear cache and clear data . That's it. Logged in again SPO2 started working. Even my missing data of last 3 nights appeared in health metrics. No need to uninstall or reinstall anything

In my Google phone, also an Android, I don't have a Storage option under my Settings. I have a Delete Data option, SP02 option under that, with a Date Range>All Time, or Last Year, or This Month, or Last Week, or Today. The SP02 hasn't been working for 3 days. Is Delete Data the same as Clear Cache and Clear Data?

No. Vetran is giving you shorthand.

Goto  Settings / Apps /

Find Fitbit, then scroll down to find Storage.

At bottom of screen, you have Clear Data and Clear Cache.

I just tried that and it still isn't working. Any ideas? My sleep logs are weird too. I have to go manually enter my times when for the first week or so, it would just appear. Thanks.

Hi @AnnDan - it may not be necessary to override the automatic process for sleep, as it takes some time to calculate the information for display which can vary depending on the load on the Fitbit servers, So maybe waiting a few hours it would come correct all by itself.

Please try and repeat the procedure once again, yo have not mentioned which
OS you are using. I have mentioned my experience with android 12. You have
to go to settings > apps > Fitbit > Storage > clear cache, then again
storage > clear data > restart the phone. The options clear cache and clear
data are visible at the bottom.
Hope it works for you

Hi @Vetran - please be aware I would not normally recommend clear data, as that loses information and can make matters worse in other places.

A logout of the app and swipe off the active window and force stop of the app in addition to the clear cache is usually sufficient to remove any app based issue, if indeed there is one.

It worked for me. Initially I also thought what you are saying. But that is
not the case, no data is lost. In fact the non appearing data which didn’t
show for last few nights also reappears. I didn’t loose any data. I will
gain nothing by giving wrong information on this platform. I have only
mentioned a solution which worked form and some one else also. You may try
and give your experience for benefit of others or keep worrying and stay
without night time SPO2 if it is not important for you.

@Vetran - thanks for the useful tips, data is stored in the servers once synced so will not be lost, but if you clear data some configuration information is lost which means reviewing your setup if you clear it, or you may get other unexpected problems, and is much like uninstalling the app and reinstalling.

IF that is the necessary resolution a clear data may be quicker than reinstalling the app especially if you have an older phone where you will not be able to reinstall the app if you remove it.
