Best AnswerI had this problem and it was my second day having the Sense. I had somehow turned on FitBit Mobile Tracking so my phone (mobile device) and my FitBit were both tracking my steps at the same time. That explained why by 8 am I had logged over 13000 steps. It was a Sunday and I chose to Live Chat with Customer Service.
I told "Denlor" my issue, and he immediately knew the problem.
He told me to
Open my FitBit App
click on My Account Icon
when open, find where it says "Mobile Track."
He said there would be a trash can, but I found instead there were three dots and when I touched them it said, "Unpair"
I touched, "Unpair,"
Problem Solved!!
Unfortunately, (as far as I know) there was no way for me to edit my steps and remove the false number I hadn't earned, but from that point on, my steps have recorded correctly!
I hope this works for you!
