Recurrent charger cable problems.

Happy New Year 2023!

 

Me and my wife got the new Fitbit Sense last year about this time. After about 3 months both cable charger died, The charging became very unstable and we followed the instrutions to cleanup the pins and the back of our watches.

I then ordered new compatible charger cables from Amazon and they last about the same time or less. Re-order new cables again and still failing after few weeks,

On all the cables, I noticed that one of the pin is always getting depressed. It seems that the spring underneath no longer works. Alaways the same pin, when I look at the pins with the wire bottom, this is the left top pin.

 

I will reorder new cables, because the one that we have is failing again and the charging is very intermittent.

 

Any suggestion of what cable to order. I would like cable that last more than 3 months.

Hi @Stephan93 - my Sense is still on it's original cable [plus a more robust reserve] after 27 months. I followed these tips which may help. Tips when using the Sense or Versa 3 charging cable
