I’ve seen a ton of comments about the 4 prong charger. For Bit, please listen to us! I have had 2 generations of Charges and loved them. Then along came this 4 prong magnetic charger with Sense. I had a Sense and got rid of it last year because of the charger pins retreating inside the case. This was after 3 chargers! I went to your chief competitor but do not like the accompanying app or the lack of fidelity in sleep data. This summer I decided to give Fit Bit another try because I love the features so much. I purchased the Sense and it came with the same charger that was so awful before. I gave it a try and the charger lasted a few months. I’m done buying disposable chargers. This is a problem that a lot of people are complaining about. Not only is it inconvenient but you are also creating unnecessary electronic waste with all those broken chargers.
People have had success buying ones on line (Amazon or the like). They are more sturdy and not expensive. Do a search and you’ll find some recommendations. Should solve your problem.
Best AnswerThis year (2022) I needed to purchase two chargers for my Sense. The box they came in had both the fitbit and the Google logos. Both chargers became non-chargers within three months - one of the charger pins retreated in to the case for both. Given the fact that fitbit was/is aware of this Sense charger problem, I am assuming that fitbit is reimbursing defective charger buyers for the cost of the item. Where do I find information on the reimbursements? Thanks
Best AnswerI too have bought over 3 chargers. I even called them then wrote to them and all they want to do is give me 35% off a new watch. Don't know how many times I explained its not the watch. So after this charger goes, I won't be getting another..
Best AnswerSorry to say they don't! At least for me. I've tried, I told them the situation. They did say it was over warranty period. Yes maybe the watch but not the charger since at the time I called them, I had to purchase another and another etc. I'm done with them. Terrible customer service!
