Update 11/25/2020: OS 5.1 (44.128.4.15) is now be available to all customers. If you have any difficulty updating, make sure you are following the directions in this article, and then provide as many specific details as possible in your post so that we can assist.
Announcing the release of Fitbit OS Firmware Update 5.1 (44.128.4.15)!
We release firmware updates to all customers in phases. The update will be available to everyone soon, and a banner will appear in the app when you can install the update. If you don’t see the banner yet, check the app again later.
Important Note: You will need to be on the latest app: iOS 3.34 or Android 3.34.1 in order to view the latest features. Please update your app.
*Firmware releases are not distributed based on region or location and can reach anyone no matter where you reside. We do not recommend performing a factory reset to force the update to your device as your data will be lost and you may not get the update. Please be patient and wait until you see the update banner inside of the Fitbit app to begin the firmware download.

@Deechte it depends if you use only the smartwatch as Bluetooth call device. If you use also others like earphones or car radio is not a good solution. But let me know if I'm wrong

Hi everyone. It's good to see you participating in the Community Forums.
I'm glad that you've been able to update your Sense to the latest firmware version and thanks for your feedback. As it was mentioned at the beginning of this thread, you can find more details about this update and its new features here. Our team will continue working on this product to improve it and deliver something that helps you to achieve your healthy goals.
In regards to the SpO2, after this update your Sense will allow you to run the SpO2 in the background and track this data in the Fitbit app without needing to use a SpO2 clock face. Our team will also offer seven additional new SpO2 clock faces in the App Gallery by the end of the year. For more information, see the Press Release Details.
@hochsen, @mbarylski and @BigSweets, thanks for your efforts while trying to update your watch. I'm sorry that you're going through this experience and let me help you with this matter. Before anything else let me share that the Sense isn't compatible with computers, meaning that you can sync and update the firmware with an Android or iOS mobile device. That being said, may I know the model of the device used to do the update? What is the error message displayed? If you've not done so, give a try to the tips described in this help article.
@DaughterofMaat, I'm sorry that your Sense battery is quickly draining. As you may know, the battery life will depend on how frequent certain features are used, such as the SpO2 Signature or an animated clock face, GPS or if the Always-On Display is turned on. That being said, please fully charge your watch, follow the suggestions from this help article to maximize the battery life and monitor its behavior in the next days.
If you have more questions, let me know.

I just had a quick question. I got the Fitbit Sense with The 44.128.4.15. Do this mean I should be able to connect and setup Google Assistant? I do have the option to select it and set it up, however, when I try...I keep getting the error "Can't Connect"
I reached out to Fitbit Support via chat and was told the Google Assistant don't work yet on my watch because I didn't have the update and that I would be receiving it soon. Support told me that 44.128.4.15 is the Sense update and 5.1 is the OS update.
So is he right about this? I thought 44.128.4.15 is the Google Assistant update...

Im in the United States and that's what is on my Fitbit Sense. I'm also signed into Google ad have Google on my phone. My language is also set as English.
I'll sign out and then sign back into Google and see if that helps.

I could not pair to sense controls at first either after the update. I finally restarted my phone and the sense and it worked after that.

I got it to work. I had my Sense connected and logged into my very first fitbit account from years ago and that didn't allow Google Assistant to connect for some reason.
I factory reset the Sense, connected to my newest fitbit account and Google Assistant connected without issue.

ECG didn't work after update. Had to forget my Sense from Bluetooth and reinstall fitbit app. Now everything works again.

Totally agree! Why makes things difficult? Just answer the cell phone. I received a today and used the Sense just to try it out. Low speaker volume, but it works! Hence, the novelty, just as you said...

This is possibly a daft question, but was the swipe-scrolling speed increased in this update? I’m finding it hard not to skip right past the things I’m trying to reach when I swipe down through the stats list or the weather or whatever.
