Update 6/14/2021:
This update should now be available to all customers! If you have any difficulty updating, make sure you are following the directions in this article, and then provide as many specific details as possible in your post so that we can assist.
We’re excited to announce that a firmware update for Sense will be available soon! Some of you may already have this update available - if you installed it, let us know what you think!
If you don’t see the update yet, that’s expected. Check the Fitbit app in a few days, and you’ll see a message when you can install the update. We expect everyone to receive the update in the coming weeks. We appreciate your patience while we get this update to all of our customers.
Did you know that we gradually release our updates? We do this to make sure everything is working just right for you. Sometimes we find an issue and it might take a little longer than expected for everyone to get the update. While you might see suggestions on how to “force” an update, we ask that you don’t try any of these workarounds. Most of the time the update won’t be available and you can lose data or encounter other difficulties. The best way to get the update is to be patient and wait for the update banner to appear in the Fitbit app.

Same issue. Went through all of the troubleshooting guides - lost the watch face (which I paid for, can't remember the name, and isn't listed under my faces), and still don't have notifications. Anyone have luck getting them restored?

Same. Spent all day rebooting phone, watch, turning settings off, on, factory reset twice. Then finally googled and from what I'm reading it's the update..... And apparently there is nothing we can do? They better update this update fast I'm pretty angry right now.

In contrast to others who replied earlier, my notifications worked for a few days after the OS 5.2 update. They stopped working from last 3 days (may be a hot fix broke it?).
This update was supposed to fix the infinite number of problems Sense had, instead it introduced new issues. Strangely, after the 5.2 update the sleep tracking always scores me above 80, even if I didn't sleep well at all. This was not the case before the update, as well as with my Charge 2.
I feel like I'm wearing a dummy metal piece on my wrist, which has the mighty potential to show time and I can change the clock face by long pressing the screen 😂

BAD… very bad…
to receive phone calls (wrist calls) I do the set up, go to Bluetooth, sense controls and pair... Got it Sense says all ok!
2 minutes later I'll go again to Fitbit app to check the wrist calls, and says that I need to do the set up... again!
I'll do it again, sense controls, pair with the code, says ok and ready to receive calls... I go to the Fitbit app to check the notification, and when press the wrist calls says again that I need to do the set up...!!!!!
This only happen since I've updated to 128.5.38!!!! With the previous version never happened!!!!!!

Anyone notice a change in the counting of Steps since the update to the new firmware?
It may also be due to the Android Fitbit App update to 3.43.
Steps now seem to be under registering.

A new feature is in the Clocks App.
The name of each clock is shown and scrolling direction is changed. Quite useful.

@ScottHahnMN Did you swipe left on the watch till you get to the Today app, click on it and scroll to Edit at the bottom and enable SpO2, and save changes?

All that does is add/remove Sp02 from being displayed in the today app. Sp02 metric has always been displayed but with no data.

Take a look at the charging cable and make sure all the pins are raised. None should be flush with the connector.

@ScottHahnMN if it's showing "no data" have a read in the article of the relevant requirements to be fulfilled to get the data to show.
