Update 6/14/2021:
This update should now be available to all customers! If you have any difficulty updating, make sure you are following the directions in this article, and then provide as many specific details as possible in your post so that we can assist.
We’re excited to announce that a firmware update for Sense will be available soon! Some of you may already have this update available - if you installed it, let us know what you think!
If you don’t see the update yet, that’s expected. Check the Fitbit app in a few days, and you’ll see a message when you can install the update. We expect everyone to receive the update in the coming weeks. We appreciate your patience while we get this update to all of our customers.
Did you know that we gradually release our updates? We do this to make sure everything is working just right for you. Sometimes we find an issue and it might take a little longer than expected for everyone to get the update. While you might see suggestions on how to “force” an update, we ask that you don’t try any of these workarounds. Most of the time the update won’t be available and you can lose data or encounter other difficulties. The best way to get the update is to be patient and wait for the update banner to appear in the Fitbit app.

Loving the SpO2 Signature clock face, but please could you add calories burned, doesn't make any sense to have to go to phone and open up the app to check this, would be so much easier and more convenient to view it on the watch.
Fingers crossed for an update 🙏🤞

My sense cannot even update the firmware since 43.128.4.17. And every time I use the standard update feature it always show my sense is up to date

My spO2 is not registering in my watch face since the update and is not showing in my daily stars either???

Yes..me too.
It appears that the Firmware update is taking over 6 days to land on our Sense devices.
Clearly, something is amiss with this version.
Fitbit, can you comment or advise ?

My Sense says it is on 44.128.4.117 in the watch system info. I don’t have any pink button to start the update. Have gone into the help settings and clicked check for updates but just says the watch is up to date. If I connect the watch to wifi, via the app. It connects fine but disconnects after 30 seconds. App is on iOS. IPhone 6. Any suggestions?

I have the same phone essentially. (iPhone 6s Plus) and running the same firmware as you. I too have yet to receive the download. My app states sense is up to date as well.
Wait for the update to hit your phone. It will happen.
It rolls out in waves and your account has not received it yet.
Don’t know what to say about the wifi
I’m not experiencing a problem with it.

You have to have your watch charged up. what works best for me is doing it at home.

Thanks for the answer. However, I tried the check for updates button when it was fully charged on the charger.

I along w/all of you have been experiencing syncing issues and issues my Sense battery going from 100% to 85% in 2 hours. I called customer service at 1-877-623-4997 and spoke to Eric (?) who advised me to close the app on my phone for the battery issue; I then tell him that I will get notifications telling me to keep the app open for updated stats/syncing. I then ask to speak to a supervisor, Eric transfers me to Brian. I started to explain the issue again. I hear him (sigh), and then he started speaking to someone in the background with me on the line, even during my attempts to re-establish our conversation. Then the line went dead. This is unacceptable. I've never had problems w/my 3 prev trackers...only w/the Sense. I've only had it 6 months.

It would be helpful for users who are having battery issues to mention if they have done the "factory reset" which seems to resolve the issue in most cases.
- Edit to include how to perform a factory reset. -
To perform a factory reset... On the Sense go to "Settings", "About Sense" and "Factory reset".

Okay, thanks ! I was hesitant to do a factory reset, only because I didn't want to lose previous data. I've selected factory reset on my Sense, screen went black. Update to come...

I received the update, and before finding this posting, the ONLY thing that I could see as "different" was within the clocks app, the clock face choices now scroll up & down (+ now with their names), whereas in the past, it was just side to side.
All other published updates work fine.
One little bit of help for other users - in testing out the talkback of Google Assistant, with the example they give of "how did I sleep last night?" https://blog.fitbit.com/fitbit-third-update/ - it replies back that I needed to update my Google Assistant permissions on my phone to allow for personal results. So that other people don't have to waste the same amount of time I did - on your phone, open Google Assistant / then Personalization / then make sure BOTH Personal results is toggled on AND at the very bottom of the screen you will see "other Devices" & your Sense - click on it, and then also toggle Personal Results on there. (Android example fyi) Now it works. However, pretty disappointing in that it only tells you how long you slept - no sleep score etc. 😞

ANY idea from Fitbit (or anyone on the forum) when they will ever fix the one real annoyance I had with the Sense - when will it retain the volume setting for the speaker when you are taking calls? Every time I take a call on the Sense, I have to tell the person to wait while I manually put the speaker volume to maximum AGAIN just to be able to hear them, which is really getting old & most times I have to default to answering it on my phone

Hello everyone- A reminder to keep the conversation to the Firmware release, which has currently only been released to small amount of people. You will know you have it when you see a banner in your app.
For iOS users experiencing battery drain on their Sense, we are aware of this issue and hope to have a fix soon. Please keep a look out for iOS app updates.
