Sense - Notification service not running

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I'm getting a message under notifications.

"Notification service note running. A phone restart is required to re-enable notifications on your tracker"

I restarted.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the fitbit app and restarted again.

No dice. Any help?

Hi there, @GodfatherApurv.

Thanks for the details provided, and the steps tried prior to posting. I'm sorry you're getting this message and to look into this, may I know the model of your phone? Do you recall since when this issue started?

In the meantime, let's give a try to the following steps:

  1. Forget your Sense from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. On your phone's settings, tap Apps > Fitbit > Storage > Clear Cache.
  3. Go back one screen, tap Force Stop and reboot your phone.
  4. Open the Fitbit app and pull down on the screen to force a manual sync.
  5. Set up the notifications one more time and let me know how it goes.

Hope this helps.
