Was watching TV earlier with the wife, went to check a notification on the watch and the screen just.. Popped off. I didn't even touch it. I haven't been rough on it, I haven't dropped it, I haven't knocked it on anything, so I don't know why the screen would just come off like that. Has anyone else had this issue? (Got the watch in September 2020)

I ended repairing mine since I couldn't find anywhere to send it, the ribbons were removed as well so i had to connect those again. It seems to be holding properly now, I probably should have tried that earlier. I do work in tech which made it easier.

Talking to a wall would be easier than the fitbit customer service. Since Google bought it, any service left has just gone to hell in a hand basket.

I use Dow Corning 3145 RTV for electronic repair. It's rated MIL-A-46146 group II and it is certified safe for use in airborne electronics. Yes, it's overkill for watches etc. but it works and is insanely strong. A bit pricy as expected for aerospace grade.

Sorry you are experiencing the same problem so many others have
experienced. I don't think it is possible for Fitbit not knowing there is
a problem with the Fibit Sense screen attachment and the many cases of the
screen just falling off. How could they not know?
As I've related I found a local computer repair shop that reattached the
screen and so for, so good but afraid of testing for being waterproof.
This will be my last Fitbit device. If it gets replaced I'll go with some
other brand even if more expensive.

Fitbit is a scam. The screen fell off my replacement sense, same like the last sense. Now support says it's out of warranty, and offering 35% coupon. They must know it's defective. $340 down the drain.

heard back, mine is out of warranty so just a sorry here is a coupon. I wish they would at least come up with a fix I loved my sense, this was my third Fitbit but my first sens. also have a galaxy active, the sense was my favorite but after seeing how many have the same issue I'm ordering another galaxy

I guess I should count myself lucky, bought my Sense 10/5/2020 and it was fine til this morning. Had it charging, got out of the shower, disconnected it from charger and put it on, then the screen just blipped loose like a jack in the box, hanging there from one of the ribbons.
Contacted FITBIT support, waste of time, not going to buy another product from them. I bought this thing basically on day 1, they were out of stock for a couple of days and I've loved it, but thats just shoddy and a really short warranty for something that is clearly a design/quality issue.
Fortunately, I have a little cover thing that I used to wear over it, might be why it lasted so long, and it keeps the screen in place, I don't wear it in the shower or water, so will just treat it like it isn't waterproof moving forward and wear it til it dies. Looking for something comparable from another company for when that day comes because fitibt got my last $350.

Surely fitbit must know that the sense screens are popping off. Yet, they hide behind a 1 year warranty.. they will loosing a lot of business.

I had my Sense 2 replaced under warranty early this year when the screen went black and the watch would not do anything. Very good service at that point. Last night the screen face fell off when I was walking, so I contacted support again. Warranty is apparently over, so all I was offered was a coupon for percentage off at their store.
I guess that they have had a lot of trouble in this cause, because on the chat with support the person just said that they had located my file and the "team" would send me an email later about my options. The email came in about two minutes later from the person I had been chatting with saying it was out of warranty and giving me the coupon code, good for 30 days only, on their website. Do they not want to tell you on the chat so that you can't start discussing it then?
I am looking for different options now, I do not want to deal with FitBit any more.

This is still an issue - I've posted an image of mine above. Watch is just over a year old so of course it wasn't covered in the warranty. After doing some research I'd just advise you buy the watch with the expectation it will only last as long as the warranty period. If you're lucky they'll give you a discount on a full price new one, but you'd be better off waiting for a sale if you plan on buying another one.
As you can see - the watch still works. I'll try gluing it, but I'm not very hopeful that it'll work... and even if it does I imagine something else will break. Especially since it's been recording me going up 70+ flights of stairs per day even though I don't go up or down a single step all day. I know pressure changes, wind, etc can give false readings but jeeze.

Going to update my reply as it’s summer time and I’m seeing more and more screens falling off. (My belief that it’s heat related with faulty or incorrect glue from the factory.)
Using the right sealant and ensuring it cures correctly has so far fixed mine for a while now, and also my wife’s. No issues, and they are holding tight. Following the original guide and the tweaks to the how to written up here does the trick.
