My wife and I both have Fitbit Sense watches and are having this issue. The issue occurred every time the Fitbit syncs. If you change the watchface and then tell it to sync, right after the sync completes you will feel the watch vibrate and the watchface will revert back to the default.

Hi everyone.
Thanks for your participation in this thread, as well as your efforts while working on this matter. I understand how you're feeling about your watches changing the clock faces by themselves, and let me share that this issue has been resolved. Your patience is truly appreciated and please give a try to the following steps to make sure your Sense starts working correctly after installing any SpO2 clock face:

I have been using the SPO2 clock faces for a long time. Some reason tonight NONE of them will keep on my watch. It just keeps defaulting back to another clock.
I've literally tried all of the problem solving issues. Same thing....

Swipe to the right on the watch face, turn off Always On [looks like a clock icon]

I just checked and mine isn't always on. But the clock face keeps changing on it's own.

Hi, try on the watch Settings, Shutdown at the bottom. Wait 10 seconds and place it on the charger to restart it, it may correct the problem, otherwise it may be related to the recent firmware update if you did one recently.
If that doesn't work you can try turning the phone's Bluetooth off before the watch restart. If it continues changing it will mean i's not an App issue.
If the latter you can always contact Fitbit Support directly. They may be able to help you.

It changes back every time Sense syncs.

Having this same issue with the Sence. Sp02 face keeps resetting to the original. It’s happened 3 times in the last hour, within minutes of me changing it.

Yep, several threads blowing up with the same question - that's how I got here too! The clock face will change every time fitbit syncs...so far no one has fixed it.
Sounds like firmware issue to me.

Yeah, I'm having the same problem this morning. Must have begun during the night and it really annoying. Has to be a firmware fault. It has literally just vibrated on my arm and the clock changed and ECG disappeared. Annoying!!

Thanks @SunsetRunner - useful information.
There are 2 ways to change the clock face, using the Clocks App on the watch, or the Clocks Tile in the Fitbit App [which has recently been modified].
It seems like one is overriding the other.
Does it stay if you use the Fitbit App and sync?
Does it stay if you use the watch Clocks App and sync?
Probably the former works?

I have tried all these steps and more nothing works. Please see my recent post - it is obviously a software fault across the board. Too many people at the same time with the same issue overnight.

Nope, neither.
From the fitbit app it will work until the next sync.
From the Clocks app- only the "factory" clock faces are available and the SpO2 one i've been using for months (and which i've had to download multiple times tonight trying to fix the issue) doesn't even exist.
Massive bug...

Yeah, sounds like something is broken, since everyone started having problems today. It was not a sense update (if it was, then it was a forced one since I did not manually update it in my sleep). It's either the mobile app or the backend who does something wrong and pushed the changes to the watch. Waiting for a fix, because I can't be bothered with workarounds...

Looks like a bug with the Fitbit App, probably best to contact Fitbit Support, only they can deal with it.
A suggestion - A sense watch measures SpO2 regardless of the clock face used, providing the SpO2 Tracker App is installed.
The information, which is at most one value per night can always been seen with a swipe up on the watch or by swipe left and opening the Today App.
Unless you absolutely want to see that one figure for the day in the SpO2 clock face, by choosing one of the other clocks in the Gallery you may possibly find one which meet your needs even better. Assuming you can get it to load and stay when the bug is fixed, or before.

Yeah, I am aware of the O2 recording app - this isn't the issue though, obviously that clock face is a personal choice and I have it always displaying the heart rate, but the issue is that the Sense has a fault. No clock faces stay - it defaults back to the factory one and deletes ECG.
