I recently started working out, and I mainly use the elliptical. I noticed that my Sense is only picking up half the distance that the machine is indicating, and my steps are about half of what I actually take. I keep my arms moving the whole time, and I set it to the elliptical setting when I start.
If I want a more accurate count of steps and distance should I be choosing a different form of exercise (ie walking/running)? If anyone has any idea how to better calculate my actual steps and distance, please let me know. I also tried to manually enter the info, and it only allows for me to enter how long I was on the machine, not distance or calories like some of the other exercises. 😞
