The fitbit sense strap lock isn’t very good. The strap lock is on the bottom of the strap where it is up against your wrist, and to unlatch, you need to press in, which happens if u move your wrist the wrong way. My watch has fallen off my wrist for simply reaching into my backpack and grabbing something as it somehow pressed the button in. I prefer the latch to be like the Versa 2 where it’s a pin as this stops this issue.
I did also make sure that this is a design problem and not my strap problem by not only getting a new strap, but also a new fitbit sense which was provided by customer support. I hope this gets fixed in the next smart watch

I noticed the same problem. I noticed on Ebay they have replacement bands that are different from the one that comes with the FitBit.
