Sense battery drained

after downloading the new firmware I noticed that the battery usage is more than what I expected. I charged it during the download and started using it after I got full charged. After 8 hours of used, the battery remaining 80%. I don’t think it can last 6 full days anymore. How am I going to overcome this? I put to sleep mode at least 12 hours every night and I don’t use it for call and the light level is dim. No gps and just for looking at the time

Mine stopped syncing a few days ago too. I force stopped the app and reconnected it. Now my battery keeps draining.  I charged it overnight and already down to 29% this morning.

I was offered a replacement however if the problem is consistent it certainly won't help much.  Is this all because of an update???

If your having a battery issue where it only lasts a few days they will replace just the Pebble..the watch part only..no charger/straps etc. I believe also it needs to be within fitbits warranty period.

I am also having problems with my Fitbit Sense.

I have had my Fitbit for just over a year.

I don't use any special functions, just activity tracking (steps/distance).

I am having to charge my device after less than 3 days, rather than 6+.

I have only recently regularly had the Bluetooth connection on permanently for syncing, and the issue seems worse since the last software update.

A couple of times the device has blacked out with more than 20% of charge remaining.

I am slightly disappointed, as I spent a large amount of money on this device and expected it to last at best capacity for longer than just a year.

Any assistance you can give would be appreciated.

Hi @LMugz - it is unlikely to be a watch problem. Quick battery draining can cause it to switch off and the cause is from updates or features. Look at the main issues and choose which you need and try eliminating ones to see which ones make improvements.

Often is depending on what options you got on and what watch face.

Pretty sure they won't Taki it back 😔. I complained to fitbit and they sent me out a brand new face (no strap/charger etc) and the new face does the same thing. I think there's so much stuff working in the background it drains fast. Had a charge 3 for years and that battery life was awesome.

Same watch faces as my versa 3

I've gone through and taken more stuff off and I'm now down to 55% pretty bad as only charged last night but seems to have slowed the draining process.. had fitbits since  2015 so really strange as not had a battery drain so fast before

I did a factory reset on mine, deleted the app and reinstalled, then pairing them again has solved it for each time it’s done it! Charging while updating seems to prevent the problem from happening for me. Hope that helps.

Will if I tell them it's not meeting the advertised battery time as is false advertising ... like you have had a similar problem think with the charge 4 but fitbit changed the pebble for me after lots of tooing and throwing with getting me to test etc  but this is to expensive to be messed around .. ive done a few more deletions of things and will now see how it goes ..if no joy I will take it back to the retailer and if no joy I'll be on fitbit case for a new pebble .. but hoping it's sorted now

Oh no that's bad hope you've let them know... ive turned virtually everything off recharged it for 3rd time last night in 3 days and I'm hoping it's worked as only dropped to 92% and I'm relatively happy with that but GPS has gone and I've got simpler clock faces no sp02 and just have watts app n telegram  messages coming truth not even sure if I've connected calls but I can suffer this xx
