Sense battery lasting 1 day compared to versa

I just upgraded from my old versa 2 to the sense watch. My versa would last up to 5 days and the sense is only lasting 1 - 2 days! I am using less features than I did for the versa - have literally disabled everything. I used the SPO2 app on versa and now Sense. I have a feeling there is a fault with the sense when I look at everyone’s comments vet Fitbit are not admitting to it. I am very disappointed with this one and am tempted to go back to the Versa or back to using a Garnin device. I shouldn’t have to disable everything and then still be charging the watch daily. I do the same level of activity and use the gps tracker the same as I did for the Versa. It is just too big a difference in the battery life to be a coincidence.

Have you considered it could be a hardware issue with your watch? Also I would make sure you are running the latest software version. I'm not saying it is something small or easy to fix... but it might be? It's worth a shot. The biggest things that drain battery IMO are always on display, auto wrist wake, as well as screen brightness. I personally owned the Versa 1,2,3 and now the Sense. I will admit I did not see much of a battery improvement between the 3 and Sense but I did not lose any power. The more features they add the more the battery is going to drain that is just a part of it. If you went from a Versa 1 to the Sense than I would say that it is probably feature related. However when I disable all the features on my sense I can get a week or more of battery life. Hope you figure it out!

Thanks. I have done everything recommended. I have checked latest version hardware, I’ve removed unneeded apps, reduced screen brightness, removed notifications…. Nothing seems to make much of a difference unfortunately. I’ve changed the clock face and will see if that makes a difference now. Fingers crossed!
