I am so disappointed in this. I bought the Apple Watch and was not totally sure I would like it with all the apps and such. So I took it back and went with the Sense. Now I am thinking I made a huge mistake. I had the fitbit HR2 and absolutely loved it. I was ready to upgrade. Well I am thinking this was a bad idea. My sense will not stay connected to my Iphone. for whatever reason it always loses connection with the fitbit controls, so no notifications. Then I am so disappointed that in order for me to get music on my watch, I have to pay for another subscription. I already have Amazon and I have a huge library on itunes, so I really do not have a need for a music subscription. Are there any fixes for these issues yet?

I’m sorry but your answer about the Sense controls connecting when you get a notification are rubbish. Every single day I have to connect them serval times. At one point I was getting out of settings then went right back in and they had disconnected. It’s also rubbish that the sense will notify you let me tell it does not. My sense has not notified me now for serval months as the sense controls are not connected. Now when ever I leave my phone and even when I do have my phone next to me I’m having connection issues everyday my sense is telling me couldn’t sync. As I’m writing this I have had to reconnect my sense controls 3 times.
I wish I had never asked my husband for this and wish I had never spent £300 on it it’s rubbish

We have 2 Senses. 1 for my husband and 1 for me. Neither sesse controls stay connected. We have Samsung Galaxy phones. Have to manually reconnect when we want to use on-wrist calls. Wish I never bought these.

Hi, @SunsetRunner & @Lovexx12, welcome, I assume you have seen my earlier posts about checking that the battery-saving function in the Fitbit app on your phone is disabled. On an android phone go to settings>Apps>Fitbit>Battery>set as unrestricted. The other two settings cause the app to be closed down when it must run constantly in the background. How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? provides advice & Guidance on notifications. How do I take on-wrist phone calls with my Fitbit smartwatch? may offer a way forward in handling phone calls with your "Sense".
I hope this helps but if you are still stuck please post here again.
Cheers

Hi, @ChristyGSLP, I think you should talk to them again, get your ducks in a row, and note precisely what you have tried and the effect.
Cheers

I am having the same issue with my android. I have was originally able to recieve calls and texts but for the last 6 months it hasn't worked. The only way to recieve a text message is by enabling it with the app setting. If I choose it in the motivating settings it won't work. I had a versa 2 and loved it until it died. I upgraded to the sense thinking it would be better. I am extremely disappointed! I have tried every trouble shooting post I've found. Nothing works. This is definitely a fitbit issue whether it's the app or the sense. It makes me rethink and future fitbit purchases. I am so frustrated.

I understand all this. I have done all these multiple times. I understand it doesn't stay paired. But what I don't understand is why after I follow all your instructions it only lasts for a short time then all of a sudden I stop getting notifications and phone calls through the watch. I have to go through all these steps again. I'm a long-time Fitbit user but this Sense is not working right and it sounds like it's not just one or two but many of us are experiencing the same problem with receiving notifications on the Sense. Is there some way you can do an update to address this issue?

Hi, @cyndilouwho, welcome, have you checked that the battery-saving function is disabled for the Fitbit app as described in my earlier post?
Let us know.

Hi, @Mak23 , the battery saving function needs to be off/unrestricted. We need the Fitbit app to be running constantly in the background.
Cheers

The battery-saving options are in your phone settings not the app settings.
