Sense isn't receiving notifications

Recently purchased a Sense and I'm having real issues with notifications. 90% of the time they don't work and I get the following message in settings "notification service not running. A phone restart is required to re-enable notifications on your tracker".

A restart doesn't help.

Any ideas. It's driving me insane.

Thanks.

Thanks @Guy_ .  Thanks for response. Have just tried that but didn't work unfortunately. I have heard form Fitbit though and apparently this is a known issue with Hauwei. Fitbit have said they are aware of it  are working on but no indication of timeline for a fix.

try

In Android phone Settings *

Apps

Fitbit

Storage - clear cache [not data]

Force Fitbit shutdown

[though it doesn't seem to fully]

Log back in to the Fitbit app

*Quick Shortcut: Press and hold the Fitbit launch icon, then App info [on some phones]

For IOS uninstall/reinstall the Fitbit App & remember to do the notifications settings you need again

Thanks for the update, did you restart both watch and phone after the change to make sure it takes effect fully.

Though as you have a Hauwei it may still require a fix from Fitbit.
