@Woodrow58 try this:
1. Remove sense from paired devices list in the settings on your iPhone
2. Reboot Sense and iPhone
3. Open Fitbit app and force sync. Allow for linking with Fitbit when prompted.

I'm having the same issues with my Sense paired with my Pixel 3a. Previously owned a Charge 2 with same phone and no sync issues. Every morning, I need to restart my Sense to sync with my phone. I've tried the things that Marrrmaduke suggested and still have this issue. What's up?

Hello @krob65 @Woodrow58 It's great to see you around!
@Woodrow58 I am happy to know that the troubleshooting steps have helped. Thanks for following them!
@krob65 I would like to mention that in order to set up, sync and use any other features like notifications, the Fitbit App needs to be installed on a compatible phone or tablet. For more information, please visit: Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker?
It seems that your Pixel 3a device is not compatible. And in order to set up, sync, receive notifications, and take advantage of other features of your Fitbit device, you must install the Fitbit app on a compatible phone or tablet. Our team is continually adding more devices and improving our compatibility, so if you don't see your device on the list check back soon.
Keep me posted.

@WilsonFitbit Why is this info not prominently posted for people purchasing your products? If Google Pixel 3 and 4 are supported, what's the issue with making 3a and 4a models compatible. I had a Nexus for years with no Fitbit issues, so it was natural to assume that my next Google phone (3a) would be supported, as well. Google is in the process of purchasing (if not already) purchasing Fitbit and their products aren't supported? That's very odd. Can this be escalated? I know I'm not the only Pixel 3a owner on these boards. Thank you.

@Woodrow58 I'm glad! 😄 @Woodrow58 Thank you for helping out. 😄
@krob65 Try performing the abovementioned procedure but additionally uninstall Fitbit app after step 1.

Hi @Marrrmaduke I've uninstalled the app more times than I can count. I'll be curious to see what happens now that Google has purchased Fitbit. I have a Google Pixel 3a (not supported, surprisingly, even though the Pixel 3 and 4 are supported) and prior to switching from my Nexus/Charge 2, never had this issue. It seems that the scripted answer is always akin to unplugging a computer to see if that "fixes" something. Time for Fitbit to take a hard look at their app development/updates. My husband works in IT and his job would be in jeopardy if he rolled out development with as many issues as Fitbit seems to have.

@krob65 this is terribly frustrating for some iPhone users as no one really knows why it happens for the select few. At least I don't know. All I can recommend at this point is to perform a factory reset + fitbit app reinstall aka starting from scratch. I know that some people reported on this forum that they had to perform a factory reset several times for their devices to behave as planned. I cannot explain it... Really I cannot...

I had the same situation. I also have an iPhone 12 and it wouldn't sync with Fitbit Sense. I was already thinking about selling my iPhone. But the above methods helped me to solve this problem and did not have to sell or change anything.

I did that. Lost the week of data I was trying to sync. Reset everything. Only to not have it sync again. Last time I had an issue like this a couple years ago, they said try not to customize it to your liking try it factory settings. I didn’t like that answer. What was the point of buying it and being able to make it to your lifestyle. Already tried everything except factory reset today.
