Sense keeps asking for pin to unlock

I have the Device Lock feature on my sense set to the enabled (recommended) setting and normally it would ask me once a day or after I put it back on for the pin code. It was working fine for about 5 months. The past couple of weeks, however, I have had to enter the pin code several times a day to unlock the device. I am not doing anything different with the watch than I have been doing the past several months. I tried speaking to someone on the phone but that got me nowhere. He seemed to blame it on the software or suggested I change it to the other setting (when making a purchase with Fitbit Pay), the one Fitbit does not recommend.

Hi @das435.

Could it be that the device is too loose on your wrist and maybe thinks it has been removed? If so I'd try wearing it a little tighter if you are comfortably able to.

Other than that I'd also suggest doing a restart, just incase there is a software issue causing it (press and hold the button for 10 seconds until you see the fitbit logo).

For some reason the Sense feels it has been removed from the arm.

For me it was so aggravating that I set the lock for only fitbit pay.

Yeah. I'm frustrated because it just started out of the blue. It was fine for the first several months. It makes me wonder what broke.
