Hi @PPerryman - try changing clock face in case there is an issue if not try another restart or a factory reset, in case the firmware update didn't get properly deployed.
Be careful with the factory reset as it can destroy the watch, be extremely patient once started. Available from the watch Settings, About Sense menu.
It will require a new watch setup so first note the names of any apps or clock faces you have selected in case they need reinstalling.

Not freezing on the clock face,
its freezing recognising steps/movements during steps/exercise. And when looking at the current steps which also means syncing to the phone is delayed.
I have factory reset the device and it's still doing it to a lesser extent

Not sure what's going on with this product- but I am also rethinking my choice. This is sense 2 #2. No matter what clock face I try it either looses connection and I have to manually change clock faces or it freezes and I have to reboot. This last time I got ANOTHER red X and that's why my first one went back. When will you fix this flaw?? I'm about to return for a refund and invest in something other than your product!

Now if it continues to get stuck at the logo, try to factory reset with these steps. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds. When the Fitbit logo disappears: Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).

There's an easier solution, though, if your own Fitbit sense freezes on you. According to Fitbit, you can press and hold down the solid state button on your Sense for 10 second if it's frozen. At first, it will look like nothing is happening, but keep holding the button down.
