Sense keeps vibrating after I accept the call

When I answer calls on my phone instead of my Sense it continues to vibrate showing a call even after I’ve answered the call on my phone. I can be off the phone call and my Fitbit is still vibrating showing I have a call to answer or decline.

I have read many help articles

  • How do I take on-wrist phone calls with my Fitbit smartwatch?”
  • How do I get started with Fitbit Sense?
  • Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
  • How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device?

I know that the Fitbit controls only connect to Bluetooth while in use i.e. making/receiving a call and that Sense Controls might be listed as “Not Connected” in the list of Bluetooth devices. When you receive a phone call, the controls are supposed to automatically reconnect. But shouldn’t it recognize when I’ve answered the call from my phone?

I’ve forgotten and reconnected, restarted, and even reset a number of times. It’s so aggravating and I don’t know what else to do.

Hi there, @SunsetRunner. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear about the issue you're experiencing with your Sense. Thank you so much for taking the time to troubleshoot it before posting here, I understand how you must be feeling.

To better assist you, please confirm whether you tried the steps below in the order listed:

  1. On the Fitbit app, tap on your profile's icon >  Sense > Notifications and turn off call notifications.
  2. Restart your Fitbit device and reboot your phone.
  3. Turn back on the notifications on your Sense and the Fitbit app.
  4. Try receiving a call notification one more time.

If the above has been done but to no avail, I'd suggest a factory reset as our last resort. Nonetheless, please be aware that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account, your applications, alarms, etc.

If you're fine with that, please sync your Sense to make sure all data is transferred and then, on your Fitbit device, open the Settings app >
About > Factory Reset. Then, please proceed to set up your Sense and to set up the notifications

Let me know how it goes.

I tried the 4 steps and it works. The only thing is I have to redo it everyday. But I'm always having to manually sync my Fitbit several times a day so I guess I'll add this to the routine, it's just a pain. I don't want to do a factory reset because I'm on a weight loss journey and I don't want to lost all that data. Thanks for your help!
