What’s happening? I’ve upgraded to the latest app version today and I can’t sync. I can see others have posted about this problem too today, what’s the problem?

Which app version?
I see a Version 3.42 in the App Store. Was that it?

No that doesn’t help - we are asking if there is a problem related to the update.

I have tried everything several times and I can’t get it to sync. For such a wonderful product you would think FitBit could do a better job with their app. This level of frustration is why I am considering another product all together and not using a FitBit device. Please do something to make your product more user friendly.

I’m having the same issue. Won’t sync. Turned off Bluetooth and back on and still not working. I removed the sense from my Fitbit app and tried adding it back on and I only get to the part with the 4 digit code because it aborts the process.
this started happening before the iOS update. I updated iOS and restarted my phone and still no luck.

I had to try re-adding it 3 times before I got beyond the passcode stage this morning. Then it said there is a "wi-fi problem" and wouldn't connect to my router. On the 3rd attempt it actually connected to wifi.
Now, inside the app the battery level is showing as the correct amount (it wasn't until I removed the device and re-added). I'm currently waiting to see if it will sync last nights data now. (EDIT: It didn't - It did the usual and got about half way before getting stuck)
Whatever the problem, either hardware or software, this cannot continue - I'll be looking to return it if things don't improve. A real shame as I love the sleep tracking.
EDIT: Is there some sort of iOS app cache, like there is on android? (I don't think so). Amazon are trying to get me to do a full factory reset on the sense which kind of defeats the purpose of a sync. On the plus side, it looks like they are willing to give me a full refund if I can't get this sorted, which is great but I'd prefer a working Sense.

Yay! After 1.5 hours of restarting my phone and sense and removing the sense and re-adding, turning bluetooth of and on etc, the sync was finally completed! Woo hoo!.... Except there was no sleep data for last night. 😞

I am also having the same issue. I have tried all of the steps but nothing seems to be working. Hoping that this issue resolves itself today or I will have to return my watch.

Update: I recently chatted with customer service and they could not figure out the issue. I was told to try syncing my device to another mobile device to see if it works. It that doesn't work they are out out of answers. I guess I will be returning 😞

After 24 hours I finally managed to get my Sense to sync, hooray. Sure hope FitBit finds a permanent fix for this problem since this is not the first time I have had this problem.

Did it stay synced? I went through the same thing yesterday but today it doesn’t sync. So frustrating!!

No - I uninstalled and reinstalled my Sense - yesterday synced up but it’s not working again after that. So frustrated - I really rely on this for my eating & exercise plan to stay on track.

I finally got it to sync today. I removed the sense as a device on the Fitbit app and also from the settings on Bluetooth, shutdown the sense removed the Fitbit app and reinstalled. Then I turned on the sense and went through the process of adding the new device on the Fitbit app and actually got past the code and it synced and added it.
