Sense strap broken within 3 months of buying

The strap of sense is broken from the part where it is adjusted in sense. While approach is to customer care they r denying to replace it saying a physical damage but the strap has separated from the adhesive point which adjusts in sense.. How can it b a physical damage. It is a manufacturing defect
