Sense won't receive notifications

Have had my Sense since Christmas and I’ve actually used it once to answer a phone call! It has never buzzed a text or notification.
why? Because Sense Controls won’t stay connected to my iphone8. I’m sick of trying. I’ve tried everything recommended.
I guess it’s just an expensive step tracker.

Sense Controls will connect automatically when you receive a phone call, however it's okay to see it listed as “Not Connected” in the list of Bluetooth devices on your phone during the rest of the time. Because you mentioned that the notifications aren't going through, phone notifications or all of them (messages, calendar and apps)? Have you tried the troubleshooting tips described in this help article?

Mine shows unconnected until call comes in.

I’m getting phone, text, outlook, email without issue. iPhone 6s Plus.

Hi @Cablerick. Welcome to the Community. @Clove6060 Thanks for stopping by to help our new member.

@Cablerick I'm sorry for the difficulties experienced with your Sense. I understand where you're coming from about not getting the notifications working well and appreciate every step tried prior to posting. As @Clove6060 mentioned, it's expected to see the Sense Controls not connected as they'll connect as soon as you receive a phone call.

In regards to your notifications, have you checked the notifications settings on your phone? Please note that with iOS devices, it's required to set Show Previews to Always or When Unlocked and add a check mark to Notifications Center within your phone's settings > Notifications for each of your preferred apps.
