What features does the Sense 2 have over the Sense 1? Have any features been removed? What improvements have been made?

Hi @raj0640 - the Sense 1 has features that the Sense 2 doesn't, like apps, Google assistant, more clock faces, etc.

As they are using different operating systems and user interfaces you will need to check which features you wish to use that fits your needs best.

@raj0640   There are two reasons why I do not recommend the Sense (original)

  • The Sense was discontinued when Fitbit released the Sense 2.  It is very hard to find a Sense from an authorized retail partner.  You must buy from Google or a retail partner to get a warranty.
  • Some Sense models are getting a firmware update to address a battery overheating issue.  This is not an optional update for affected users.  It will immediately reduce your battery performance.

My advice is dont buy Sense 1 . I am ver y dissapointed with mine. The batterylife is useless,it needs charging at least every 24 hours and that is using it with all the battery saver options suggested. If I set it up and use it how I want and use all the features,I would be charging it twice a day.

Hi @Jomac151 - it seems you are having a problem with your Sense 1, it would be a good idea to make a separate post as to what the issues are in case there is a fix for it, because what you are experiencing is not normal for that watch, mine lasts easily upto 6 days. Here's a typical example

Hi @Lalaxbx - it's a feature on my clock face (SimpleClockPro).

Well they just destroyed the Sense battery life with the mandatory firmware update. I have all calendar, text, etc turned off and I used to get at least 6 days before charging. Now it's 2 days.
