Why is Fitbit sence sleep tracking hopeless. I brought a cheap sleep tracker to use at night and it hasn't failed me yet.
I like all the other functions on my fitbit sense, now i use the cheap one for my sleep tracking.

Hi, @Nandad, welcome, may I draw your attention to this article How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device? Once you have checked through it perhaps you could let us know where your particular problem is.
Cheers

Hi, @Nandad, thanks for your feedback, I note your problem. I think the first thing to try is to ask your wife to read through the article I sent previously. I appreciate the way we might make progress is to offer you a series of questions with yes/no answers, the downside is it will take a long time to make progress. Let me know what you think.
Cheers

My husband is having the same problem with his Sense. It is not tracking his sleep. I have the versa 2 and two previous models of fitbit and have never had problems. I have tried to help him with this issue and we cannot figure it out. The "article" you linked is not an article but just bullet points on how the sense tracks sleep and other sleep features. It does not address what to do if the device is not working like it should.

Hi, @lupster welcome to the community, the article provides background on how "Sleep" works and comments on set-up and how it collects data - for instance, you need to be at rest for about an hour before it recognises you are sleeping. There is also a comment about the sensitivity settings normal/sensitive differences (have you tried changing this setting) Earlier models of Fitbit devices have of course been improved upon and parallels are difficult to draw.
Allowing you have considered the article and have still not made progress can you post screenshots of what you do get in the Fitbit app "Sleep" tile.
Cheers
