SpO2 not working on Fitbit Sense - no data on Clockface and no data on Health Report

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hopefully this problem can be solved:

I replaced my Fitbit Ionic by a Fitbit Sense. No it turns out that the Fitbit Sense keeps on showing "No data" in the Fitbit Health Metrics tile as well as the SpO2 Clock face.

This is really bad since the Ionic did show data both on the clock face as the Health metrics.

The weird especially weird since the "Estimated Oxygen Variation" in my sleep report works fine.

I am using the Fitbit Premium service

Any idea how this issue can be solved?

So this is weird, apparently to have SpO2 reported in the Fitbit App you always need to have the SpO2 Clock face running. So this data for in the 'Health Metrics' section' app only is reported when using the particular clock face. However, one would expect that Fitbit Os would do the SpO2 calculation and sends it to the app rather than a clock face that should only just display data. So in short the 'Health Metrics' report including historical stats only works well using one particular clock face, which is quite a limitation.

Hey, I have the clock face on with my sense, I still have no data and no graph 😕 keeps telling me it will update when I go to sleep, I have worn it for 3 nights of sleep and still have no data 😞

Mine has displayed my data on the watch for the last 3 days.  This morning, it’s blank.  Lol

The Spo2 recording is flaky at best. In my case I have 5 nights of successful recording and 3 unsuccessful. It won't be solved until Fitbit fix their bugs.

I have the same problem.... thinking about returning it.

My SPO2 Clock face also tells me no oxigen in blood, so I wondered if I would still be alive. Called Fitbit Support and they said "If you're chatting with me I'll guess you're alive or at least I hope so. But don't worry, the moment you die we'll know from your data, and I'll text you to warn about your death" (just kidding, but this SPO2 failure is really annoying).

Mine got working after 3 nights, then stopped displaying it. Then after wore for a few hours during the day began displaying it again, and now it's not working again for several days already 🙂

Yea. I was willing to bite on the premium because I wanted to track my sp02 but now that I can’t get any data so far I’m wondering why I would waste 10/m to be disappointed? I chose this watch very specifically for this feature and I’m considering returning to if it doesn’t work one of these nights. Without that feature I’m not really interested for the price tag.
that and the battery life that this non working feature has murdered.
I could just pay more for a normal smart watch and not have to pay yet another subscription fee.

Same story here.  Although it has been much longer that it has not worked.  Tried returning to this clock face multiple times without luck.  No reason to try premium service for me.

mine is also randomly working. all other features seem intact but for some reason that particular setting works sporadically

When I first got it going yesterday it was working and then it has not worked since. Fitbit needs to be on here watching this but they're not because they don't care. Or they do care and they're working on something and still not telling us what's going on.

I tried to loss my band and it worked better.

It's about to allow the watch to move around one index finger on your wrist.

Thank you. It is working now. Wearing looser and I wonder if there was an
update. My spouse's versa is working now also.

Had the same thing happened to me. I've only owned the Sense for 3 days. SpO2 stopped showing data on the clock face this morning but the app shows O2 data from previous Friday night. Took the Sense off my wrist, noticed one green and one red light pulsating, just for curiosity, I placed the sensors (blinky lights) over my left index finger like a regular pulse oximeter, waited about a minute and the SpO2 reading showed up on the clock face again. Also, I noticed the one blinky light on the sensor turned green after taking my finger off the sensors. Both blinky sensor lights were green and the O2 levels were showing in the clock face again. I do remember in the instructions to not wear the watch too tight, not sure if that had something to do with it.

Same. Shame on Fitbit

Mine has been working for a bit now.  I recieved a different band as a gift and I feel this is most likely to be the reason.

My Sense now has been giving me readings every day, but the SpO2 is always under measured. I also have a professional oxymeter and, comparing both, the Sense always gives 4 to 5 percentual points below. For example, for a Sense reading of 92% SpO2 nightly average, when I measure it in my finger with the oxymeter right after I wake up, I get 96 to 97% which is my usual level. I think Fitbit should elaborate on this.

In the other hand, heart rate measurement in the Sense is always very close to the readings I get from a professional blood pressure measurement device.

Fitbit service leaves a LOT to be desired, to say the least. I rate Fitbit service one (1) out of ten (10)! I had a Versa 2 that malfunctioned so I just upgraded to the Sense. Now I have an issue with the oxygen stats not reading, as well. I figured that there’s no no sense in contacting Fitbit service, as they have never been helpful to me. I purchased my Sense through Amazon and purchased Amazon’s extended warranty program. In my experience with Fitbit, they do NOT back their products and their warranty program is poor. I’m going to give this Sense a few more days and I may return it and do what I should’ve done from the get go—purchase an Apple Watch. 😳🤨

I just spent some time going through my Fitbit sense and here’s what I discovered… You have to have the SpO2 tracker app downloaded.
1) Go to the Fitbit app on your phone.

2) Click on your little picture in the upper left corner.
3) Click on your watch.

4) Click on All Apps.

5) Click on SpO2 Tracker.

6) Download SpO2 Tracker app if it’s not already downloaded.

I hope this fixes the issue! I just did this, so we’ll see what happens. 🤞🏽
