Hey everyone,
I've been enjoying my new Sense for a week now, and everything is perfect except for the syncing of SpO2 results to the app. I have an SpO2 watch face installed (and use it permanently), and as expected, about an hour after I wake up, the SpO2 average for the night shows on the watch face. When I sync, however, this result is not exported to the app (only the first night's result was synced, nothing since then). The estimated oxygen variation, breathing rate, and effectively everything else syncs correctly. Any ideas on what I could be doing wrong, or is this a common issue for other users? Thank you!

You are not doing anything wrong. There is a glitch in the Fitbit App. To resolve
In Android phone Settings * Apps Fitbit Storage - clear cache [not data] Force Fitbit shutdown [though it doesn't seem to fully] Log back in to the Fitbit app
*Quick Shortcut: Press and hold the Fitbit launch icon, then App info [on some phones] |
Or for IOS uninstall/reinstall the Fitbit App, and redo all notification setup. |
Wise to restart the phone after.
Note: Its not necessary to have the SpO2 clock face for it to record SPO2 at night so feel free to choose another face. The SpO2 measurement on the Sense is done by the builtin SpO2 tracker app - check you have it by
On the watch Swipe left Click Apps It should be there. |
As you noted it takes some time before it shows up due to calculations needing be performed.

Thanks for the response.
I followed everything you said and it hasn't made a difference, unfortunately.
The SpO2 shows fine on the watch every day (in the daily app), but nothing at all on the phone app - just a message to install the watch app (I have).
Any other thoughts?

hi @Fitterbitte - this was an old problem can you post back the version of the Fitbit App you are using.
If it is older than the one published here, uninstall the Fitbit App and reinstall it, and redo all the Notifications setup and any other special items.
If you have cleared the cache and force stopped the Fitbit App and it didn't cure it, then an App reinstall would be the next thing to try.
Lastly make sure the watch is syncing well with the phone, if it isn't then it won't show anything in the App, and also that you don't have any special security software, or VPN, than can block some transmissions.

Thanks for the swift reply @Guy_!
The app is version 3.51.1, so the latest.
I do have an vpn, but pausing it doesn't seem to make a difference.
Yes, it syncs fine otherwise, no issues.
I'll try uninstalling the fitbit app.
Thanks!

I just did this and it worked- but please tell me I don't have to redo this every day lol. (I had the same issue where it synced the first day, but after that it was only showing on my watch not my phone).
