Stair count inaccurate Sense

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Sense has been clocking up a ridiculous amount of stairs for a few weeks example 140 flights a day when I’ve been sat at a desk I’ve contacted Fitbit by phone who were totally uninterested about the problem they told me to loosen the wrist band which is useless,  I’ve done everything they suggested and took it back to Curry’s PC world where I purchased it  from and they couldn’t get a reasonable answer from Fitbit either I’m at a loss what to do next it’s money down the drain.

This stair count issue with the Sense and Versa 3 started with last November's update.

I haven't seen enough to know if it only affected some or all users.

My observations, in general, are that almost all of the fitness devices has this issue with varies degrees. But your numbers are quite high. My daughter had sense & I start to use it since yesterday and sense logged 4 stairs while only thing I climbed was treadmill.

Not sure if there is a solution for it because how the sensor calculates stairs. Upward movement of the hand could trigger it to log a climb.
