Stress score disclaimer appears each time after log back into Fitbit app

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

For non premium people, it seems since they started fiddling with the Stress Management score 2021-05-13 that after login you now have to first go through the disclaimer if you want to see the Stress score and you have to log a reflection otherwise you can't see the score, and you can't delete the extra reflections, so after multiple logouts you end up with multiple reflections logged.

Is there a resolution?

Hi @Guy_. It's nice to see you around.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. This is odd as the stress management score should appear as soon as you sync in the morning, and you can also delete any reflection logged. Just to confirm, may I know the model and OS/software version of your phone? Did you experience this issue prior to May 13th? Is the Fitbit app updated to the latest version? Also, what troubleshooting steps have you tried so far? These details will help me to further investigate what may be occurring.

See you around.

Hi Lis

Thanks for the follow up.

Phone - Android 10 Samsung S9+

Watch - Sense 44.128.4.17

Fitbit - 3 41.2

All on latest levels.

After a logout/login you have to go through all the first time steps [accept disclaimer, next, next, next, and make a reflection, even if you already made one] to get to score details.

This started on May 13th. Before that it remembered you had done it the first time you setup the App and was working fine.

It has been like this since that date. There was no firmware or App update around that time.

Didn't note date of last phone update or reboot but it didn't immediately coincide with this change of behaviour in the App. Phone has been rebooted since without it making any difference to the issue.

Lastly it has never been possible to delete a reflection. Premium or not.

Which is odd that feature doesn't exist in the App, as one is forced to make a reflection, even if you don't want to, in order to see prior days reflections.

It seems in the roll out if the Stress Management Score to other watches this got messed up for the Sense.

Hi @Guy_. I hope you're doing well.

Thanks for getting back with the requested information. While this feature has started to roll out to other Fitbit devices, it should continue working well on the Fitbit app with your Sense syncing. Because this isn't the case, please give one last try to the following steps:

  1. Log out from the Fitbit app.
  2. On your phone's settings, tap Apps > Fitbit > Storage > Clear Cache.
  3. Go back one screen, tap Force Store and reboot phone.
  4. Uninstall the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Open the Fitbit app and pull down on the screen to force a manual sync.

Wear your Sense as you normally do and once you're awake, sync your watch with the Fitbit app to update your details and check your score.

Hope this helps.

Hi Lis, thanks but those usual steps were already done. ( The phone even had a firmware update since and it didn't fix it)

As the requirement to do the Stress Management Score setup each time you login appeared with the roll out of Stress Management Score to other watches, and appeared out if the blue it seems more likely it's an account related problem.

What seems to be happening is the recording of the first time setup is being forgotten if you logout and in.

In other words it thinks you are a new user when you login and click on the Stress Management Tile, so the information is no longer being recorded in the account anymore since trying to roll out to other watches.

Please inform the developers.
