Just stopped working. Tracking steps but nothing else. Did factory reset, and all other suggestions and still nothing

Hi there, @Jesusa1974. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Sense is not tracking your heart rate. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

In addition to the steps you've tried, may I know if you have tried to charge your Sense? If your device has no battery, none of the features will work. Note that sometimes a Fitbit doesn’t seem to be charging when actually the issue is that it has become unresponsive (this can happen if the battery has been allowed to discharge completely). I'd recommend putting it on to charge on a charging wire and outlet known to be working.  Leave it on the charger for a good two hours, even if it doesn’t seem to be charging.

When it has had two hours, try restarting your Charge 5. I would recommend trying this maybe twice in a row if a first try doesn’t work.

If the above doesn't work, please see Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?

Once your device is fully charged, please see if the heart rate monitor starts working again.

The device is fully charged. That is not the issue. There are no lights on the back of the watch at all. The only thing it’s tracking is steps. None of the other functions work

I'm having the exact same problem. I have a fitbit versa lite. If you find out how to fix it please share.

Hi @Tash1988 - it may be possible to accidentally turn off the heart sensor in watch Settings but generally if a restart or last resort factory reset doesn't fix it it may have suffered internal damage, possibly from water getting in, or some other fault.

@Jesusa1974   If the green LEDs are not working after a factory reset, then it sounds like your device has failed.  I don’t know of anything else you can do.

@Guy_   Turning off the heart rate monitor isn’t part of the Sense settings.

I’m having a similar problem with my sense 2, but the green light is still on and everything else is being tracked. Only the breathing rate has stopped tracking for for over a couple weeks now! It seems to be a system problem, and nothing I’ve done wrong!
