Time and battery drain when a Sense is shutdown

Some long term testing reveals the battery drain on a Sense which is shutdown is around 0.5% per day.

The restart process can use anything up to 0.5%, so after 42 days it has a minimal overall effect.

The time [date] was retained but the time tends to wander fractionally while shutdown and restarted, but on this model time isn't stopped.

I have a Sense and Charge 5.

I will fully charge my Sense and turn it off. In a week of it being off, while wearing my Charge 5, the battery will be at 0% when I turn it back on.

Never understood my the battery loses so much power when being off.

Hi @Ghostman - unfortunately it probably indicates an inherent watch fault, especially if the watch uses a lot of battery when on.

If you want to follow battery evolution when on, the SimpleClockPro clock face records the battery level in it's logs each morning and records the charges and shows the expected autonomy which might be helpful. Watches of a certain age may discharge at a higher rate to start with but by the 50% level it should show a 5 day autonomy.

Sense battery works fine when I am using it. Its only when I power it off that it drains and doesn't hold its charge.

Did notice it loses about 1 percent of battery on a restart.
